About OutcomeX
OutcomeX is a prediction market: a place to put play-money behind your beliefs about what's going to happen. Better-informed predictions earn more OXC; worse ones lose it. Over time the prices on each market settle near the true probability of the event.
How it works
- Pick a market. Every market is a yes/no question about a future event with a clear resolution rule.
- Buy YES or NO shares. Each share pays out 1 OXC if the answer matches your side. Prices are in cents (0–100).
- Trade until resolution. You can sell anytime before the market closes — the price reflects the live market's view.
- Resolve. When the event happens (or doesn't), the market resolves and winners are paid out automatically.
What's OXC?
OXC ("OutcomeX Coin") is the play-money unit on the platform. New accounts start with 1,000 OXC. OXC has no cash value today.
Is this real money?
No — OutcomeX is play money only. No deposits or withdrawals; no fiat or crypto on/off ramps. OXC can't be redeemed for anything of value. Future versions may add real-money trading under a gaming license, but for now this is a free, no-stakes trading simulator.
